The Eagles were not able to defend their 2008 Grand Final Championship, going down 3-1 to Cooma.
For some unknown reason the Eagles were far from their best, perhaps it was the week off?
The Eagles were outplayed, particularly in the first half, by a Cooma team that played smarter on the day and deserved their victory.
Congratulations Cooma!
The Eagles now look forward to the challenges of the new year.
The committee would like to thank all those that attended the Grand Final, your support was greatly appreciated! Thankyou.
The Eagles will now head off to Melbourne for the Karadjordjev Cup on the October long weekend. The club presentation will be held on the following Sunday, Oct 11, at the Monastery grounds in Hall.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
