The Eagles were unable to get on the scoreboard against Goulburn in the 2nd round of the Fed Cup. Both teams had their chances, but it would be fair to say that the Eagles dominated possesion for large spells but couldn't make it pay. Where as Goulburn were always dangerous on the break.

The wet conditions took its toll as both teams became scrappy in the 2nd half. In the end, one could say that a draw was a fair result.

Goulburn head into the last round as favourites to progress thru while the Eagles cannot lose against Cooma if they want to play in the Qtr's.
